To mark a year since the King’s of Pop’s passing, a host of music stars will team up for a TV tribute on CBS News’ The Early Show on Friday (25Jun10).
Aguilera, Anthony and Robinson, as well as rapper LL Cool J and British singer James Morrison, will perform Jackson’s Man in the Mirror live during an hour-long special dedicated to the late superstar, according to Us Weekly.
Aguilera admits she is honoured to take part, saying, “Music wouldn’t be what it is without someone like Michael Jackson. I remember going to my high school talent show singing The Way You Make Me Feel and being a huge fan of his album Bad. I know all my dancers wouldn’t be behind me dancing if it weren’t for that.”
Anthony adds, “A Michael Jackson comes around literally once in a lifetime. They break the mold and I think there are people who just sacrifice their life, their personal life all for the arts. That’s what Michael did; he sacrificed his life for the arts.”
The tribute show will air in America on Friday (25Jun10).

Fred Durst (LIMP BIZKIT): “On this tour (June 26, 2009) I have been paying tribute to [Michael Jackson] by wearing his ‘Beat It’ jacket and rhinestone glove [see photos below]. The irony and timing is shocking. I am very sad. He was truly brilliant and the reason why I love to dance.”

Apparently the picture was taken before MJ died…

I suppose it’s the thought that counts and bless his little dance moves -the singing however…not so much.
Regardless home boy is holding it down for MJ!
The YOUTUBERS Say:
I love this.It was really close. RIP MJ!

Corey just destroyed this song.

ok, I admit, the singing wasn’t that great, but he does got most of Michaels moves down better than most people. I’ll just be honest about Corey needing to choose and stick to songs more suited towards his vocal range. I know Corey mainly did this song as a tribute to Michael because he wanted to and not for anyone else, cuz he knew Michael as was good friends with him too from what I understand. I met Corey in person, shook his hand and exchanged some friendly words. He’s a descent guy.

Wow, that was almost like watching Michael again. Almost.

Michael Jackson’s legacy continues to live on…
Michael Jackson’s estate has raked in close to a billion dollars in the year since he died.
The huge sum – from record sales and lucrative deals brokered by the estate – is 47 TIMES what the debt-ridden King Of Pop made the previous year.
That’s nearly two thirds of what Elvis Presley’s estate has made in the 33 YEARS since his death. If the cash keeps rolling in, Jackson’s children, Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11 and Blanket, seven, will get billions from their trust funds when they reach 21.
A source said: “The estate has made around $900million (£614m) in cash since Michael’s death. This is an incredible amount. No other artist has ever made that much since they died. It should ensure Michael goes down in history as the greatest artist of all time.”

They write on their Youtube Page
A group of young Hollywood artists came together to recreate MJ’s Earth Song and there is no denying… the Magic was in the studio. 50/50 music group’s Dani Wright was inspired by MJ and found it necessary to bring her talented friends together to honor and pay tribute to the King of Pop with this 2010 video remake of “Earth Song”. Not only is this a tribute to the King, but it is a call to action, and a recognition of the times we are living in.
Don’t simply watch this video, share it with your friends, family, and the world to help renew and live out the legacy created by the world’s greatest entertainer, Michael Jackson.
Long Live the King.
