Oprah’s first love was none other than Jackie Jackson of the Jackson 5. “Everybody was going nuts over little Michael, but being a little older, it was his big brother, Jackie, who made my heart go pitter, pitter, pitter-patter,” she says. “That was my goal—to marry Jackie Jackson.”

Sadly, their love was not meant to be. Jackie married in 1974. “I was crushed,” Oprah says. “Hey, a girl could dream.”

Still, young Oprah never could have imagined her dream date would come knocking 43 years later. Read more

Michael Jackson would talk to his pet chimp Bubbles in a special language.

A shocking new documentary about the King of Pop’s personal life revealed extraordinary details about his relationship with the monkey.

Bubbles: My Life With Michael Jackson contains interviews with the pop star’s sister La Toya, 54, and biographer J Randy Taraborrelli.

In the documentary, it was revealed that MJ made everyone treat the famous pet as if it were his child, he dressed him in baby clothes and slept with him every night.

And the pals even had their own “chimp language” Michael would use so no-one else would know what they were talking about.

“I often saw Michael making chimp noises and Bubbles would make noises in return. You knew something was going on there. There was actual communication,” the Daily Star quoted Taraborrelli as saying.

Ian Halperin

The author behind “Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson” is tackling the King of Pop’s last days for the bigscreen.

Author-filmmaker Ian Halperin is behind “Gone Too Soon,” an 88-minute documentary about Jackson that is culled from 300 hours of footage shot inside the singer’s camp.

Shine Intl., which holds global distribution rights to the doc, will unveil “Gone Too Soon” at next month’s Mip TV confab in Cannes. Pic is set for a theatrical run in Canada and France, via Transit Medias, on June 25 — the first anniversary of Jackson’s death.

Halperin wrote “Unmasked,” which hit No. 1 last year on the New York Times’ bestsellers list, after spending five years investigating Jackson.

Footage in “Gone Too Soon” includes video and audio of Jackson shot before his death. It also includes interviews with Jackson’s personal manager, chef, spiritual adviser, hairstylist, trainer, protective agent and attorney.

According to the filmmakers, Jackson family members were not involved but are aware of the film. Family attorney Brian Oxman is among the interviewees.

An Examiner Report: For the first time since the death of her legendary brother, the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, recording superstar Janet Jackson will make the late talk show rounds.

Despite earlier rumors that Janet Jackson had snubbed The Jay Leno Show as payback for all the jokes Jay Leno served up at her brother’s expense, Janet Jackson is apparently looking to smooth over years of comedic tension between the King of Late Night and the King of Pop.

According to Access Hollywood, Janet Jackson will visit “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on March 18, although she is only scheduled to appear as a guest, not a performer.

Coincidentally, the musical guest that evening will be Orianthi – Michael Jackson’s lead guitarist during rehearsals for the “This Is It” tour.

Janet Jackson’s “Tonight Show” appearance will be only her second major interview since Michael Jackson’s death. The first came last November with Robin Roberts of ABC News.
