Michael Jackson would talk to his pet chimp Bubbles in a special language.
A shocking new documentary about the King of Pop’s personal life revealed extraordinary details about his relationship with the monkey.
Bubbles: My Life With Michael Jackson contains interviews with the pop star’s sister La Toya, 54, and biographer J Randy Taraborrelli.
In the documentary, it was revealed that MJ made everyone treat the famous pet as if it were his child, he dressed him in baby clothes and slept with him every night.
And the pals even had their own “chimp language” Michael would use so no-one else would know what they were talking about.
“I often saw Michael making chimp noises and Bubbles would make noises in return. You knew something was going on there. There was actual communication,” the Daily Star quoted Taraborrelli as saying.

In 1987, Stephen Davis — the noted rock and roll biographer, and author of arguably the most notorious non-fiction rock tome of all time, the Led Zeppelin screamer Hammer of the Gods — was living with his family in Malibu and working on a book about Fleetwood Mac when his agent called and offered him a plum gig: ghostwriting Michael Jackson’s autobiography. That book, Moon Walk, became a #1 NY Times Bestseller, and broke the news of Michael’s accusations that he’d been abused by his father.
Earlier this evening, about 45 minutes after the networks confirmed Jackson’s death from a heart attack, we phoned Davis at his home in Milton, MA, as he watched his subject’s demise unfold on CNN. We talked about the odd circumstances surrounding the book, his memories of what Jackson was like at the time, and how Michael saved Davis’s seven year old daughter from the clutches of Bubbles the monkey.
How surprised were you at Michael’s death?
Oh, totally shocked. I was going to go to London and go to one of those shows. And I figured as his biographer — as his autobiographer — it would be a cool thing to do. I mean, I thought maybe I’d do my own book someday. I’ve just been trying to figure out if my confidentiality agreement with him from 1987 is still in force. I guess I’ll have to get legal advice.

Certain people may think she’s nuts for talking to a chimp and asking him if he remembers her, but I just see a woman who’s still mourning and missing her brother. It’s not funny, really. It looks as if it’s brought back memories of her and her brother from when Bubbles was still with them. She’s extremely sweet and as normal as a person can be coming from such a background, and it’s extremely sad to watch.

how people keep on bringing that up about her. Do you guys REALIZE and UNDERSTAND and perhaps even FATHOM the abusive husband that Latoya was with at the time? Just because she’s the sibling of a famous singer and entertainer doesn’t mean that she’s not subject to abuse by her spouse. She’s said sorry to Michael, and Michael, as her BROTHER (BROTHER, GUYS, BROTHERRR) accepted her apology–and that’s all that matters. UNDERSTAND THAT THEY’RE FAMILY. I’m pretty sure you would hate it
