The British talent search television series Pop Idol has spawned spin-offs in 42 territories, in what is now referred to as the “Idols” format. This year, Optima Media Group (OMG) has acquired the license to produce and air this reality show format throughout Nigeria and Pan Africa.
A panel of four judges, made up of some of the music industry’s most influential experts; which include Audu Maikori, Yemisi Fajimolu, Jeffrey Daniel & Yinka Davies will be faced with the daunting prospect of choosing 50 talented singers to face the viewing public who will decide, in a series of live shows, who most deserves the chance of stardom.

You all know we have a great appreciation for all things DANCE related, so we had to post the new Ciara video. We think it’s hot, also we keep hearing from the general public that it reminds them of a Janet Jackson video and other divas in the game. What are your thoughts?

I guess people could compare her to Beyonce’s “Diva”, Rihanna’s “Hard” or some Janet Jackson video. I can see those comparisons. But I think Ciara takes it to a whole new level. The dancing is AMAZING. Yes people can compare her to others, but lets face it – Ciara kicks their butts when it comes to hardcore hip-hop choreography. She’s backkkkkk! However, I don’t like the new mix of the song, the original version is better
