This father and son collaboration almost brings a tear to our eyes.

Dealz and Jackie Jackson of the world famous Jackson 5 team up to create what surely is a classic. After numerous conversations with long time family friend Aziatic, Dealz decided this would be a great way to give back to millions of his fans around the world. This is truly an exclusive because this the first time in many years that Jackie’s fans have heard that unique sound that Jackie brought to the Jackson 5.

Will.i.am

As with many other posthumous releases, the forthcoming Michael Jackson album, Michael, is already creating controversy. After Will.i.am told Entertainment Weekly that he thought it was “disrespectful” to release the collection of previously unheard material from the King of Pop, fellow collaborator Akon struck back.

Last week, will.i.am slammed the project, suggesting that there’s no honor in the upcoming release, due in stores December 14.“Whoever put it out and is profiting off of it, I want to see how cold they are,” he told EW. “To say that what [Michael] contributed during his life wasn’t enough. He just wasn’t any ordinary artist. He was a hands-on person. To me it’s disrespectful. There’s no honouring.”

AKON

Akon, whose “Hold My Hand” collaboration with Jackson dropped on Monday as the LP’s first single, insists that releasing new music is actually a way of honoring the icon.

“I think that’s probably will’s opinion,” Akon told TMZ of the Black Eyed Peas frontman’s statement. “Me personally, I think that’s keeping his legacy alive, if you ask me. I don’t see anything disrespectful about it. He got his people taking care of it. We all did records that we actually worked on together on the album. These records would have come out whether he was alive or dead, so I think this actually to helps keep his legacy alive. I honestly disagree with that.”

The hip-hop star explained that he hopes “Hold My Hand” will reach “another level” and be properly distributed as he and the Jackson team had originally planned.

Not only did Akon call his sessions with MJ “amazing,” but he also gushed that it was nothing short of a dream come true saying, “He was a very incredible person, very creative. That was really a dream come true on my end. I enjoyed every moment of it.”

Everyone is talking about the opinions of will.i.am and Akon. So MJtheBest.com decided to have a little fun.

No word from 50 cent yet, as he has a track on the new MJ album, so we assume he is saying…

So what T-Shirt would you buy?

We never ever noticed that little Michael Jackson thing at end the ‘Too Legit To Quit’ video. Come to think of it, I think we had outgrown Hammer by this point so maybe that’s why we never noticed, we never watched it before.

PS: Is just us or does that video make you feel dizzy too? That was SOME video shoot. The crew must have slept for a month after all that jumping around. #justsaying

El DeBarge attends the Black And White Benefactrix Ball at Beverly Hills Hotel and Mama Debarge is all in the mix. You go girl!

The song is ok, kinda cutesy, they watered down EL’s voice too much because we all know that man can SANG! However we are glad to see him back in game.

Jermaine Dupri, we salute for your mix-tape concept. JD raps, “I think I’m Berry Gordy, Russell Simmons, Quincy Jones”.

For those of you who don’t know he has based this concept on a track by Rick Ross called B.M.F. The first line Rick Ross says “I think I’m Larry Hoover, Big Meech”. Larry Hoover and Big Meech are American Gangsters. Whereas Mr Dupri has turned it around and for his version given us more positive role models Berry, Russell and QuincyWE LOVE IT!

Since you have been gone, it looks like Chris Brown has gone a little hip hop. We are so used to him sliding and gliding across the stage that when we saw him ‘crip walkin’ and rappin’ in this video we just had to blog it! I can’t lie though MJ, the song is off the hook! One thing you have taught us all about the music business is it’s all about reinvention and versatility. O and he seems to be partnering up with a new rapper called Tyga quite alot recently. They have a mixed tape out called ‘A Fan of Fan.’ The guy has a nice little flow…I think your nephew Siggy would like him…

WARNING – A FEW SWEAR WORDS
