Janet Jackson Movies

READER REVIEW TIME

THANK – YOU BAYO for sharing…

Just left the theater, the movie was very touching, bring tissue with you and be prepared to think. The movie is filled with poems that’s base on each person’s stuggle. All the ladies did a terrific job. Janet is in her element on the screen. Tyler is getting more comfortable in his role as a director/writer/producer. He didn’t rush it and gave the viewer what was needed to understand each character. A must see, a serious movie not a comedy. A few comedic elements, but main focus was drama.

We are keen to hear some more #please share

Last time it was big sister rebbie, this time she brings nephew Austin, Rebbie’s son. He must have been really proud because we all know he loves his Auntie Janet.

Lying, thinking
Last night
How to find my soul a home
Where water is not thirsty
And bread loaf is not stone
I came up with one thing
And I don’t believe I’m wrong
That nobody,
But nobody
Can make it out here alone.

Maya Angelou on the set of the film Poetic Justice(1993) with director John Singleton. Angelou played a role on camera as well as writing the poetry heard in the film

Poetic Renioun: Here they are again in 2004, 10 years later…

Maya Angelou appears in a cameo during a family reunion, and her brief ruminations on love, right and wrong, parents, and children provide an emotional anchor for the film.
