The Jackson 5 A family Dynasty

Behind the headlines lies a captivating family, whose lives have been unwillingly played out before cameras for decades. After 40 years in the business together, Jackie, Jermaine, Tito and Marlon have sold more than 250 million albums worldwide. Now, the brothers allow unprecedented access into their world as they record new material and rehearse for a concert celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Jackson Five. “The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty” will chronicle the brothers’ relationships with each other, their parents and their children, while also balancing the demands of their professional commitments and celebrity. The series will also document the brothers coming to terms with the tragic loss of their brother Michael and determining how to properly honor his legacy. The series premieres Sunday, December 13 with back-to-back one-hour episodes beginning at 9:00pm ET/PT.

The Jackson Brothers eating dinner

We got the scoop from janetcharltonshollywood. She wrote on her blog:

“Now HERE are the Jacksons we rarely saw before Michael Jackson died, and the brothers look better than ever. Marlon, Jackie, and Tito had lunch in Calabasas and the whole thing was filmed for their reality show “The Jackson Dynasty.” These brothers have been trying for years to get a reality show and finally got their wish. The show will reveal the private lives of the remaining Jackson Five – Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Marlon. (Jermaine was in Glasgow with LaToya when this segment was filmed.) Tito says “We’ve had cameras following us all our lives.”

Thanks Janet! Check out her Blog, It’s Great!

Underneath all the excitement & pandemonium, a murder hasn’t been solved. This family will not forget that, because I won’t let them.

I can’t support a film my brother wouldn’t approve of, so I didn’t attend the screening. Also, because I know how it ends…

Michael wanted privacy for his children. HELLO! They wore MASKS!

The Jackson Family is warring over the inclusion of Michael Jackson’s three children in an upcoming A&E reality show about the clan.

“The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty” is tentatively scheduled to air in December and will include Prince, Paris and Blanket Jackson in the cast, according to a report in Us magazine.

While Janet Jackson is OK with bringing the kids into the show, Jacko’s oldest sibling, Rebbie, 59 — who refuses to be in the show — “feels Michael would spin in his grave if he knew his kids would be on the show,” according to the report.

Michael Jackson, who died June 25 at the of 50, was hugely protective of Prince, 12, Paris, 11 and Prince Michael II, 7, who’s also called “Blanket.” On the rare occasions they ventured out in public, he made the kids wear masks to protect their identities from photographers and gawkers.
