Like many holidaymakers, one of only negative aspects of spending the day on the beach is the constant hassle by vendors. Despite her A-list lifestyle, even Janet Jackson found she couldn’t escape the notice of a persistent hat seller as she holidayed in Sardinia. Even though Jackson was already wearing a hat on her head, the seller seemed determined that the singer should have another – perhaps more of a beachy style than her flat cap. Rather than shrug her off, the 44-year-old politely declined to buy anything from the big pile of hats on offer and gracious sent the vendor on her way. The That’s The Way Love Goes singer was spending the day relaxing at the five star Hotel Cala Di Volpe in Porto Cervo.
