This picture was taken 10 years ago. Regular readers will know that we have blogged about all of these people in relation to Janet and MJ.

It’s funny because at the time Jennifer was married to Cris and Britney was dating Justin and NOW all 4 of them are with other people. Both Jennifer and Cris have remarried. Britney and Justin are in ‘serious’ relationships with other people. It’s just funny how time flies and we are sure back then they were having lots of fun.

Now this has got us thinking ‘what were we doing 10 years ago’? Looking at this picture it feels like just the other day. Time is REALLY flying and actually it’s not that funny!

What were you doing around this time?

Article Taken from TMOTTMedia:

58334785Though Janet Jackson had not performed the choreography from “Scream” since she and her brother Michael shot the video in 1995, it couldn’t have been a more fitting tribute to him. Jackson talked about the making of that video along with how she prepared for the Video Music Awards in the half-hour special “The Making of Janet Jackson’s VMA Tribute Performance,” which aired on September 19.

According to Janet, “Scream” was a turning point for Michael, who used the video to express frustration over his legal troubles. ” ‘Scream,’ there was so much going on at that time,” Jackson recalled. “That’s when the I hate to say this but — the first allegations [of child molestation] came out and the whole bit. He was very upset and very angry and he had so much pent up in him that he wanted to get out and say. And when you listen to the lyrics, that’s what it’s about.”

Cris Judd

Cristan Leenon “Cris” Judd (born August 15, 1969) is an American actor and choreographer from Abilene, Texas known in celebville for his brief marriage to Jennifer Lopez.

Early years

Before Hollywood, Judd spent his early years growing up on Air Force bases in Angeles City in the Philippines and Hawaii. His mother is Filipino, his father Larry is Portuguese. The Air Force then moved his family to Niceville, Florida, where he attended Niceville High School. While in Florida, Judd, an avid athlete, spent a lot of time surfing and golfing. With a golf handicap of four, he even considered going pro after graduation, but instead decided to go to college. While in college, he landed his first job at Disney World with friend and colleague, Wayne Brady.

Dance career

At age 21, Judd became interested in dance. Within a year, he switched jobs and began dancing professionally with Disney.

Michael Jackson

With CRIS’ fame on the rise, his creative and performing skills were brought to the attention of MTV and Michael Jackson. His appearance with the entertainer at the 1995 MTV Video Awards led to his becoming one of the lead dancers on Michael Jackson’s Dangerous and History world tours, where he performed with the music icon in front of some of the biggest concert crowds in history at the height of Michael Jackson’s career.
