Vanity Fair published two covers for its September issue: one featured Michael Jackson and another featured Farrah Fawcett, the two pop culture icons who both died on June 25 2009.

“Two covers seemed like the sensible thing to do, given the passing of two major American icons on the same day,” editor Graydon Carter said.
