Michael Jackson’s Ultimate Music Fan Global Mash-up To Launch Online March 7. Innovative “Behind The Mask” Video Project Seeks Creative Input From Across The World To Shape Unique Artistic Vision
In the spirit of Michael Jackson’s pioneering videos that pushed the creative boundaries in capturing the look, feel and emotions of music, the Estate of Michael Jackson and Sony Music will provide everyone who likes music an opportunity to help create online a unique groundbreaking music video for the single “Behind the Mask”. Using the web in a truly innovative way, people from around the world on March 7 will come together to create an imaginative piece of Michael Jackson history in The Behind the Mask Project.
Led by the creative team at Radical Media and director Dennis Liu, participants will visit the website behindthemask which will be loaded with simple tools that define the different roles one can play in this landmark project. First, users select a move, a lyric, or a crowd reaction; performers can even demonstrate their own moonwalk, the anti-gravity lean or the toe stand. Then, using the site’s split-screen template, contributors can shoot their move right on the website with their web cam (or their video camera) and upload their clip at the precise time it occurs in the video.

A friendly, yet fierce, competition has sprung up between the fans of the “Lady” and the fans of the “King.” It all started when artist David Ilan, who is behind the largest Michael Jackson tribute in the world, agreed to create an image of Lady Gaga if enough of her fans participate in the one-of-a-kind project – an interactive work of art.
Ilan sees it differently. “The tribute portraits are completely separate and are not meant to compete with each other,” he said. “Both projects need a million participates in order to be completed, so I guess that sparked the competition to see which project can get a million fans first.”
Ilan is known around the world for his unique “dot drawings” that allow ordinary people to play a role in their creation. His art pieces are made from hand-drawn dots; each dot represents a real person. People participate for free by requesting a dot, and when enough dots come together, an amazing image is formed.

Hello. I’m Lorette from the Extreme Michael Jackson blog (Please Visit…)
I’d just like to tell you about a great independent project that just came out in honour of Michael Jackson. With the help of some fans from around the world, I put together an anthology. It’s called Michael Jackson for the Soul: a Fanthology of Inspiration and Love. The book is a beautiful trade paperback filled with poems, stories, and letters- ordinary fans sharing how Michael touched their souls.

Remember Beth’s Report about the MTV respect MJ campaign
They wanted fans from around the world to participate in their video event. The video will be a global plea to urge MTV to Reinstate the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. The video will be sent to the corporate management of MTV, VH1, the Jackson family and assorted media outlets.

Defense attorney Mr. Flanagan presented his case regarding his request for a court order for testing on three pieces of evidence.
1- broken syringe found on floor with unknown fingerprint
1 – syringe
1 – IV tubing adjacent to bed.
Flanagan is interested in quantitative testing of lidocaine and propofol in syringes and tubing. Coroner only completed a qualitative testing, not quantity.
Presumably the quality of evidence remaining in tube has degraded and become diluted. One syringe is reported as having only salt. The syringe and IV have only small amounts of liquid evidence.
Flanagan insists on receiving all remaining evidence to conduct his tests to receive an accurate reading of quantity. Click here to read more

Starting on December 31st, 2010 and spanning through January 1st, 2011, we will be hosting the first annual MJ Unity Day! The event is meant to do exactly as the title says: unite the MJ fandom. Many other MJ forums and communities are invited to participate along with us. Activities will include (but are not limited to):

- - Live chat events to encourage members from different forums to get to know one another
- - Live call-in recordings to be included in our itunes podcast
- - Fun, light-hearted threads about Michael that are selected and created by the participants
