For more than four decades, The Jackson 5 have created a legacy in entertainment that has yet to be paralleled. The record breaking recording group included brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, Randy and Michael. Their music and image transcended race and created the worldwide phenomenon, Jacksonmania.
The J5 Collection, launched in 2010, is a unique celebration of The Jacksons achievements as an international mega group. The Los Angeles based line features vintage images and illustrations dating back to their first newspaper article up to their world 1984 Victory Tour. With over 150 million albums sold worldwide and having introduced the greatest artist of all time, this collection is reflective of the brother’s legacy and the inspiration of music on fashion.
We are definitely going to support this label, it looks really great. We remember Jackie saying somewhere that all his friends (other celebrities) have labels so why shouldn’t they (The Jacksons) have a clothing line. We could not agree more and the label looks hot plus we are really loving the whole vintage vibe.

We did not realise that Prince was wearing the J5 Collection. Apparently this tee is called ‘Starfighter’ which he wore with the Jump sneakers we blogged about before. How cute is that?
Jackie said, “We had thousands of photos that had never really been seen and we wanted to make use of them,” Jackie said at the MAGIC fashion convention in Las Vegas. The clothing line, now in its second season, takes rare images of the beloved group and puts them on t-shirts, tank tops and jackets. Michael’s children especially love the shirts”.
